Innocent Birthday
As a child, birthdays are seen as holidays. A day we celebrate our lives and feel special. For this project, I wanted to recreate the innocence of birthdays and the change we experience. As we start to grow time starts to move fast and so does everything around us. We start to age, giving us less time to process the transition from childhood to adulthood. It is something that is not spoken about and instead thrown into. In this project, I want to show the last vestiges of childhood and how there is still a pure joy when we celebrate our birthdays but also a sadness that comes with growing up.
